Wear Your Meds

Wear Your Meds was created by Lauren Weiss, a copywriter and Miami Ad School student based in New York City.

Wear Your Meds

Wear Your Meds was about generating a discussion around mental illness meds to help fight the stigma against using them. Wearing a button with your prescribed medication is a show of solidarity, a conversation starter, and a simple way to normalize the conversation and empower others to seek professional help.

The project received press in Fast Company, Muse, Brit + Co, TODAY Show, and The Now TV, syndicated nationally. Over the course of the project, the website had 16.2k page views and 5.7k unique visitors from 38 countries. Over 1,200 buttons (handmade by yours truly) were sold—all via organic social.

The website, which is no longer live, included the button shop, backstory, FAQ, and a page with mental health resources.
